This painting is my interpretation of Jesus Christ as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, as spoken of in Revelation 5, 5. There is mystery, the layers of textures and colors invite the viewer to search for hidden treasure. This is the square proportion, you can also find a vertical rectangular version in my gallery.

Thank you, Lydia. This was the first lion I painted, originally a vertical rectangular. A customer wanted to have it in square proportion, keeping the words in top left. He was the catalyst for a fresh new look.
