My creative purpose for this prophetic portrait is that it emulate every woman who is called by God in this hour, reminding us that we are daughters of King Jesus. He is on our side, He is for us, and with us through all our hardships. She has embraced her call to battle, both spiritually and in the natural. As a trained archer she wears a leather arm-guard, called a bracer. On it her identity statement "I am the Lord's," is imprited with gold Hebrew letters. This fulfills Isaiah's prophecy in 44:5, saying, "Another will write on his hand, 'I am the Lord's," "Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom." Matthew 13:43 With rich symbolism this prophetially tells a story, from Romans 8:14-18 CEB: "All who are led by God's Spirit are God's sons and daughters. You didn't receive a spirit of slavery to lead you back again into fear, but you received a Spirit that shows you are adopted as his children. With this Spirit, we cry, "Abba, Father." The same Spirit agrees with our spirit, that we are God's children. But if we are children, we are also heirs. We are God's heirs and fellow heirs with Christ, if we really suffer with him so that we can also be glorified with him. I believe that the present suffering is nothing compared to the coming glory that is going to be revealed to us. The whole creation waits breathless with anticipation for the revelation of God's sons and daughters."

Hi Vicki, Thank you for your kind words. I have a large collection of photos, mostly my personal photography to draw from. I do a lot of preparation in Photoshop. This one was a complex process with 8 photos morphed into one image, and Hebrew writing positioned on her arm. I use a Wacom Intuos Tablet and Digital Art Pen to work in Corel Painter 2020 for actual brushstrokes that bring my artistic style to create "a painting." I do a lot to customize colors and paint, particularly hair and facial features that ultimately express what I want the painting to say. I guess that's the brief story.
